Earth Day Party

Celebrate Earth Day with ImpactDash!

If you find yourself in Brooklyn for Earth Day this year, join the ImpactDash team at Pine Box Rock Shop on Saturday April 23rd from 2:00-6:00 pm for a celebration of the 41st anniversary of the holiday.

Our Earth Day celebration will provide the chance to mingle with other green-minded individuals while browsing offerings from local vendors, including all-natural skin care products from Sprout Wellness, seasonally fresh soups from CoreyBelle Soups, and whole grain mustard made in Brooklyn by My Friend’s Mustard. Green Mountain Energy Company will also be on hand to talk about their Pollution Freesm electricity, made from 100% renewable New York wind and water sources.

Fresh baked treats will be available for $1 apiece (including a few from the ImpactDash co-founders!) with all proceeds benefiting Open Space Alliance of North Brooklyn (OSA). OSA is dedicated to improving existing parks and supplements the NYC parks maintenance and operations budget while beautifying, planning and developing new parks. OSA accomplishes this by linking community volunteers and fundraising, while serving over 120 parks and green spaces in Brooklyn’s Community Board One region, from the Newtown Creek in Greenpoint to Flushing Avenue in Bushwick!

And our choice of Pine Box Rock Shop was no coincidence. Incorporating many sustainable features including reclaimed wood, recycled glass jar light fixtures, and local beers, Pine Box Rock Shop is thrilled to host this Earth-friendly event.

Speaking of local beer, there will be drink specials at this event: $3 Wells, $1 Off ALL drafts (including NY state favorites like Ithaca Brewing Company’s Flower Power IPA) and $5 ImpactDash cocktails, a refreshing vodka drink featuring fresh local basil.

We hope to see and share a drink with you at Pine Box Rock Shop on April 23rd! RSVP through Facebook.
