W!NK Eco Beauty Bar is a welcome addition to the bustling neighborhood of Prospect Heights, Brooklyn. Celebrating their second year, this green business is thriving – it always seems to be packed with customers eager for a more Earth-friendly way to prim.

It’s so easy to fall for companies that use “Eco” or “Green” in their names, but W!NK is the real deal. All of the products they use, from polish to remover to lotion, are free from parabens, formaldehyde, phalates and toluenes.

W!NK’s mission is to provide clean, friendly and healthy professional beauty services, and that they do. Each person I have dealt with there, from the lady who answered the phone to the gal who performed my mani/pedi, was incredibly nice and knowledgeable. And, when I tried to skip out on my full drying time (a horrible habit of  mine that inevitably leads to smooshed and smeared polish every time), the manager caught me and insisted I stay under the dryer for another five minutes. They take pride in their work and want to ensure the best possible results.

Beyond the standard nail and foot fix, W!INK offers many spa services, including threading, facials and waxing with vegetable-based wax. W!NK also offers make up applications and features vegan offerings. Additional green details of the salon include shelves made from reclaimed wood, energy efficient lighting, and even a waterless mani/pedi option for those so inclined.
