I don’t buy bar soap. I’m afraid of hidden animal fat and other icky ingredients. However, I recently tried Grandma Gee’s soap from Heine Bros. Coffee in Louisville, KY. I was intrigued by the Green Tea option and decided to try it out.
The soap could be named “100% Soap” as it is 100% natural, 100% biodegradable and made with either 100% fair-trade & organic espresso or 100% fair-trade & organic green tea. The green tea soap had a delightful, minty smell and exfoliating buffers in the bar. In short: I love it and can’t wait to try the coffee version.
Grandma Gee’s makes custom soap, ranging from the Heine Bros. line to beer soap. Heine Bros. Coffee partners with many environmental organizations and supports a variety of causes, including ImpactDash 15Thousand Farmers.
